Type the registration exactly as it appears on your plate, including the spacing. It sounds obvious, we know, and it is still the single most common thing we have to write back and confirm. Check it twice before submitting – once it is printed, that piece is yours.

Every personalised piece is printed after you order, not customised from ready stock. The text you type becomes part of the model geometry itself, so it is raised or recessed in the material. This matters far more than it sounds. Printed-on or engraved-surface text wears off a keychain within months of pocket use. Geometry simply cannot.

Keep the text short
A keychain is a small object. A first name reads beautifully. A full name with a middle initial gets cramped and becomes hard to read at pocket size. If you need more characters, a bag tag is honestly the better home for it.
Contrast matters more than decoration
Raised text in a contrasting colour can be read at a glance. Text in the same colour as the body looks very elegant in a product photo and then becomes completely invisible on a keyring inside a handbag. Please choose for the second situation, not the first.
Look at the ring hole

Will the name rub off over time?
No. The text is part of the printed shape rather than ink or a sticker, so there is nothing that can wear away.
Can I order just one piece?
Yes, of course. Since there is no mould or tooling involved, one personalised keychain costs the same per piece as one out of fifty.
Can I get a photo printed on a keychain?
A photograph works much better as a lithophane, where light passes through the panel and reveals the image. At keychain size, a name or a silhouette will always read better than a photo.
How many characters will fit?
As a thumb rule, up to about ten characters stays comfortably readable on a standard keychain. Beyond that, please go one size up.
Can I get matching sets made for a group?
Yes, and this is very popular for families, cricket teams, college groups and wedding parties. Each piece can carry a different name while the shape stays the same across the set.
